What is "Quality of Service" and why is it important to me?
Fling provides Quality Of Service (QOS) software to all it's customers at no additional charge. VoIP Quality of Service (QoS) refers to how our network delivers echo-free, loss-free VoIP. VoIP Quality of Service (QoS) means eliminating the problem of lost or delayed VoIP traffic. Fling's Quality of Service software helps us achieve crytal clear VoIP call quality. Our Quality of Service software manages WAN bandwidth, monitors and prioritizes traffic, and provides QoS support.

What is the Service Level Agreement (SLA)?
Fling is committed to providing the highest levels of performance and reliability of its VoIP services. As one measure of our ongoing commitment to excellent customer service, Fling provides a Service Level Agreement (SLA) covering our VoIP services. If an Eligible Customer experiences service issues that does meet the applicable commitments of the SLA, then Fling will issue the Eligible Customer a Service Credit. [read agreement]

What's your 30 day Guarantee?
Simple, if you do like your FLING Internet Phone Service (for what-ever reason) within the first 30 days, just return your hardware (in good condition) and we'll refund every penny.

What internet speed is required to use FLING phone service?
We recommend at least 128/128Kbps for our service to perform well. For each additional unique phone number (DID) you add to your service you will need an additional 80Kbps.

Who shouldn't get FLING phone service?
If you are having problems with your internet service, you WILL have problems with the phone service...get your service issues resolved before starting FLING phone service.

If you have serious medical conditions or require dedicated phone service for emergency reasons, you may want to consider the reliability of your internet service before you make a change.

FLING internet phone service is AT LEAST as reliable as your traditional phone service, how-ever if your internet service or your electricity goes out...So Does Your Phone Service.

Will FLING work with my security service?
Yes, FLING will work with almost any security and monitoring service. Please consult your security provider for any special arrangements they might require or have them contact FLING directly.

Can I pick-up my phone adapter somewhere?
Sorry, we don't have any retail outlets. How-ever, we do live in the communities that we serve, so often times we can arrange for delivery. Please place your over the phone (Internet Orders Cannot Be Delivered).

Can I use my own Internet Phone Adapter (ATA device):
Probably Not. Our phone adapters have a 'Quality Of Service' (QOS) feature built in. This allows us to guarantee the VOIP connection quality between you and our network. FLING is unique (check all those national providers, you get what you get) we want to make absolutely sure of your call quality. If you have a device that does employ (QOS), please contact us with the device information and we'll make every attempt to allow its use.

Will my number be listed with Directory Assistance?
Yes. With our Residential & Business UNLIMITED plans we will submit your number to directory assistance...If You Would Like, if you wish to remain UNLISTED we will do that also. Most Internet Phone (VOIP) providers will not include your number with directory assistance...this can be a HUGE problem, especially if you are a business. Get FLING!

What payment options can I use?
Cash, Check and Credit Cards. We accept Credit Cards (V/MC) online and for MONTHLY billing. If you would like to be invoiced for your service and pay by check, we bill for your service quarterly.

Can I use my satellite internet connection?
You Bet. FLING is one of the few Internet Phone companies that will work with most satellite internet services. Please note, if you are having problems surfing the internet with your satellite service, phone service will NOT work well.
